Lost in Art shoot

Like A Rolling Stone Shoot for BARE Magazine

I was co-production lead/stylist on this shoot along with Deanna Wagner. We were inspired by the movie Almost Famous and many 'on the road' type editorials. Photography was done by Ali Baba Russell who was also my photo assistant on many of the shoots I shot during the semester. This is the first magazine cover I have shot and I hope there will be many more in my future :) This is also the first issue I have worked on as co-creative director along with Jonathan Deniol Rodriguez. Photographer Jane Thomas creates fascinating abstract photography using soap and water. Read more about her work below.

"Colours and patterns arising naturally from the interference of reflected light rays from the front and rear surface of a thin film of water and soap held in a tiny frame (a 'bubble wand'). The inner circle which I use for these photos measures 18mm. Some of the shots are of tiny areas within that ring. Sony Alpha 100 SDLR camera with Cosina Macro 100mm."
