I think I made the speed a bit too fast-- but this is my first attempt at gif making so hopefully I will get it right next time!

Was looking at Booooooom art blog the other day and found the work of photographer Andrea Galvani. Her work is super surreal and I couldn't help but appreciate her use of balloons and be reminded of the photos I shot for BARE mags 'Lost in Art' shoot (see below). I wonder if the placement of the balloons in her work is pure randomness or was super intricate and complex, captured at just the perfect moment. hey, maybe even a combo of both. Anyway, her work is awesome.
Went to see Starfucker at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz a few nights ago. The show was sold out day of but my sister was a hero and hunted me down a ticket. They were really good and since it was such a small venue, we got to talk to them a bunch. (well, I personally didn't but my boyfriend and friend did...They even gave them an Animal Super Species napkin to market their band), Good times.
They didn't play Pop Song though "you even got health insurance, oh what a bore you could have so much more"
Sharing this post from Foam Magazine- because I always love doing Photoshop collages. "GUEST BLOG: PHOTOSHOP FUN "For those of you who don't have the time or the money to buy a million art supplies, or for those of you who think you don't have any artistic skills or for those of you spend hours upon hours on the Internet doing whatever it is you do...then graphic media is for you.
Think of these little projects as an Internet collage. They're fun and you are free to do anything your little heart desires! The delete button is also a plus.
You need to know a little about Photoshop to do these- and I won't lie: When I first got the program it looked like another language to me! Just Google it– there are a ton of extremely helpful sites that can teach you the basics.
The stuff up top is what I did. There are so many ways to Photoshop...why not make it into an art medium?"
