A word of advice from a Vice Magazine writer i recently interviewed for a class assignment, "Do it DIY. If you are into magazines, make your own and xerox it. If you like web stuff, start your own blog. Don't wait for people to give you a platform, make your own and then people will pay attention. If you make a name for yourself, the big guys will come to you asking for you to contribute."
